Sunset Ritual created by Anané & Louie Vega is the ultimate conceptual outdoor party. Whether on beaches in Ibiza, Greece, Italy and the Mediterranean, Sunset Ritual is about bridging people and styles of music together in an artistic form while in the most amazing ambience and space to hear such sounds on the earth and under the skies. Anané describes the magic, “We’re about bringing people together to create a vibe and an atmosphere, and a ritual of music that people get lost in. Between Louie and I, and the various sounds we play individually and simultaneously, we take you on a journey. Creating their own scene over the years, the powerhouse couple are ready to bring Sunset Ritual to the Music Summit at St. Moritz on top of the wonderous Alps.
Anané, Cape Verdean born dj/singer/songwriter has accomplished a great number of feats, which includes the full length solo album Ananésworld & singing the opening song “One Dream” at Super Bowl XLI during her husband and their group’s- Elements of Life- appearance. She was honored with the invitation to perform at the President Obama’s Ambassadors Ball as well. Her global appeal also grew as she was invited by Nelson Mandela’s party, African National Congress to appear as the only female dj on the bill to perform and speak in front of 10,000 kids for a large community event. Anané Vega is responsible for her music label, Nulu Music, which already boasts an impressive 50 releases and is signing artists from all parts of Africa. And now with the launch of NuLu Electronic catering to a more European market. Stay tuned for Anane’s upcoming project as lead singer of an Italian classic, “Parole Parole” by Mina, this will be her debut as a producer.
